Virginia Weida is an acclaimed interior designer and CEO & Founder of Virginia Weida Designs,
established in 2006. She is a Certified Interior Designer, Certified Facility Manager (RCFM), and LEED
Accredited Professional with over 30 years of experience. As a workplace design and project
management expert, Virginia collaborates with building owners, brokers, and property managers to
deliver creative, budget-conscious solutions that enhance property value. Her unique blend of expertise
ensures spaces support occupant health, safety, and success.
A respected CRE industry leader, Virginia is dedicated to service and social impact. She has held
President or Chair roles in national and local organizations four times over the past five years, served on
numerous boards, and taught as an adjunct interior design faculty member for 12 years. She continues
to mentor emerging professionals and advocate for women in business.
Her honors include ASID Fellow (2025), ASID 50 Awardee, 2024 ASID Advocate of the Year, and
ALM|GlobeSt. Woman of Influence (Independent Professional). She is also a 2X published author,
including her recent book “From Underdog To Winning Bitch: My Dachshund’s Lessons For Overcoming
Obstacles,” and a frequent speaker on design and empowerment.
Virginia earned her BS in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University. Based in
Pittsburgh, PA, she enjoys time with her husband, daughters, and dachshunds, as well as canine sports,
travel, wine, reading, and the arts.
